High back Armchair and low back tub chair
designed and first produced in 1981 when Lee and Jill were living in a converted barn. These chairs are influenced by the wooden structure of the barn with its' heavy timbers and pegged joints and the chairs have recently seen a revival in interest. It is flattering to see the many adaptations that other designers have applied to this original concept, an example of which can be seen in the V & A collection of modern furniture.
